The Entrepreneur's Source has recognized Gale St. John as Client of the Year.

Gale St. John typifies the American entrepreneurial dream and spirit. Gale moved to the USA from Trinidad in hopes of making the American dream come true. She had a strong desire to make things better for her family. Well, not only did Gale strive to achieve her goal but she overcame some very difficult obstacles and even became an entrepreneurial first in the course of doing its.

When Gale St. John is the first in The Maids Home Services history to do an urban model. She didn’t let that detract her from opening her franchise in Brooklyn New York. She saw the possibilities, and worked with the Maids Home Services to create the business operations and procedures to address the typical urban challenges such as parking etc. She then purchased pre-owned 12 passenger vans vs. the traditional station wagons; overcame high rent issues by running the business from the basement of a Brooklyn Brownstone vs. typical commercial space and pursued her dream.

Gale also had to endure some of life's most difficult and stressful events during her discovery journey. She overcame her brother going to war in the Middle East, she overcame the death of her father, a prolonged illness of her mother and she overcame the loss of her job as a VP at a large Major Bank all during the course of her discovery journey and validation. She never let these events keep from her pursuing her dream.

Consultant Jim Gliblin first met Gale at a minority job fair held in New Jersey, and knew she that she had the passion to control her own destiny. And pursue it she has. Gale has been one of The Maids Home Services most satisfying success stories in her 9 months of business. She is determined, dogged and delightful.
